Liverpool fans react to Jamie Carragher’s Instagram post

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was in attendance to watch Manchester United host Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final first leg, and caught up with two of his old teammates after the game.

The former defender posed for a photo after the game – which Barcelona won 1-0 – with Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho.

Barca, who were far from their best at Old Trafford, scraped the win and will be hoping for a much more convincing performance at the Nou Camp in the second leg.

Carragher was working on the game for TV3, but took the opportunity to get the snap which he then posted to his Instagram account.

The trio were teammates together at Anfield during the 2012/13 season. Coutinho signed midway through that campaign, with Suarez having spent a couple of seasons playing with Carragher after joining in January 2010. Carragher then retired in the summer of 2013.
