Liverpool have been rocked with another potential injury problem with captain Jordan Henderson returning to the club from international duty with England.

The 30-year-old has returned to the Premier League champions after experiencing muscle tightness during Sunday’s clash with Belgium.

It’ll be news that leaves boss Jurgen Klopp anxious ahead of Sunday’s game with Leicester City.

Liverpool’s injury list appears to be ever-growing, much to the dismay of the club’s supporters.

Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Fabinho are all currently nursing fitness problems.

With that in mind, Klopp can ill-afford to lose his captain, especially with the in-form Leicester due to visit Anfield this weekend.

Henderson has enjoyed a fantastic 18 months as Liverpool captain, winning the Champions League, Premier League and World Club Cup.

The £140,000-a-week star is instrumental in Liverpool’s engine room, proving himself as one of the club’s most important players.

Supporters certainly aren’t happy that Henderson might be ruled out of Liverpool’s game at the weekend.

They’ve taken to Twitter to discuss his latest knock and it seems plenty are extremely disgruntled.

Here is what Liverpool supporters are saying about the news regarding their club captain.
