Gabriel Barbosa has hinted that he’d be interested in a move to Liverpool.
The striker has been on loan at Flamengo in 2019 from Inter Milan, and has enjoyed a terrific stint at the Rio de Janeiro-based club.
The 23-year-old has hit 34 goals in 40 appearances and has seemingly rediscovered his mojo after struggling to fit in at San Siro.

Barbosa, also known as Gabigol, will now feature for Flamengo at the Club World Cup, before deciding on his next move.
And perhaps he might be hoping to catch the eye of Liverpool in Qatar judging by his recent comments.
He said (Daily Mail): “Firmino is great. He’s been successful for many years in Europe. He is a powerful forward and he has been great for Brazil. He is an inspiration that I look up to.
“It would be a pleasure to play with him. Maybe we could team up for Brazil in the future and Liverpool is a team that everyone wants to play for.”

Gabigol then said he likes the Premier League and follows the competition from Brazil.
Liverpool fans react
Gabigol’s comments were obviously picked up by Reds fans on social media, and the reaction has been fairly mixed about the idea of him playing his football at Anfield:
