Richarlison was a rare shining light for Everton on Wednesday night as The Toffees suffered a heavy 5-2 defeat to Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Anfield – and Liverpool fans have reacted to the Brazilian’s display for Marco Silva’s side.
Divock Origi scored a brace while Sadio Mane, Xherdan Shaqiri and Gini Wijnaldum all got their names on the score sheet. Michael Keane scored from a corner, while Richarlison scored after an excellent cross from Bernard.
Brazil international Richarlison, 22, was heavily involved throughout the match and was involved in a couple of late challenges with Trent Alexander-Arnold. The former Watford star was also booked for trodding on Shaqiri.

The young attacker has arguably been one of Everton’s best players this season, shining in a team that are seriously struggling towards the bottom of the Premier League. He has netted seven goals in 18 games, laying on two assists.
The £50million (BBC) signing from Watford in the summer of 2018 signed a new deal prior to the clash against Liverpool, extending his deal at Goodison Park until the end of the 2023-24 season. Whether he remains, is another question.
Liverpool fans reacted to Richarlison’s performance for Everton, with many stating that they would take the Brazilian at Anfield – with some even claiming the attacker could become a target if Everton do indeed get relegated come next May.
