Liverpool sent scouts to watch Parma talent Dejan Kulusevski in action at the weekend.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira is one of many sources to report Liverpool’s interest in Kulusevski. The Reds reportedly ran the rule over Kulusevski during a Serie A game against AC Milan.
Even though the Sweden international could not prevent a 1-0 loss, Liverpool are still very keen on him. They have been discussing the possibility of signing the youngster for next season.
Inter and Juve also keen
But Inter Milan and Juventus will provide competition. It looks like there will be a real scrap on for the left-footed winger, who can operate on either flank or through the middle.
Kulusevski is currently on loan at Parma from Atalanta. Having played just three matches for Atalanta, he joined Serie A rivals Parma for the season. He has been a hit so far.
The 19-year-old has three goals and five assists this season as he gets valuable playing time under his belt. At such a young age, he is already showing signs of reaching the top level. Here are some Liverpool fans discussing these rumours.
I really hope it’s true

Sancho, Kulusevski, Tonali, Berge, and Ben White would be the perfect reinforcements in the next couple of windows

This would be great alongside a Sancho and CM in terms of forward options in the summer

Definitely. He’s a brilliant talent. Serie A’s best young player so far this season

Versatile 19yo winger, left footed, big, strong and has a bit of pace. He will get slapped around a bit, but he will learn to overcome that in time (He has plenty of that). Would be a good signing for the future.
