Liverpool fans react on Twitter to reported interest in Leicester star

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Sunday Mirror (26/7; page 80) suggesting that the Reds are interested in Harvey Barnes this summer.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have been able to enjoy their Premier League title win for some time. And while the celebrations can perhaps properly begin now the season is over, it may not take too long before thoughts turn to next term.

And it appears that one of the players the Reds are interested in heading into the transfer window is Barnes.

The Sunday Mirror (26/7; page 80) reported that Barnes’s energy and versatility has caught Klopp’s eye. It is also noted however, that Liverpool will not have an easy time trying to land the Leicester City star.

The reported interest has left some of the Liverpool fans divided, though the majority appear to believe that he would be an exciting addition.

Some have concerns about whether his end product is good enough. But many supporters believe that he could develop into a fantastic player under Klopp’s guidance.

He has scored six goals and contributed eight assists in the Premier League this season. So he clearly boasts a lot of potential.

And some fans are hoping that he can possibly realise that potential at Anfield. Here is how some of the supporters reacted to the reports…
