Liverpool coach John Achterberg has shared a video of the club’s goalkeepers training on their pre-season tour of Austria and many supporters have led for Loris Karius to earn a recall to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The German stopper has spent the last two seasons on loan at Besiktas but is now back at Anfield preparing for the new campaign.
Karius, 27, kept 14 clean sheets in 67 games for the Turkish club but with no offers forthcoming he finds himself back in contention.

The £25,000-a-week (Spotrac) stopper hasn’t played for Liverpool since the fateful Champions League Final of 2018 when his errors helped Real Madrid to a 3-1 victory.
It seems as though that escapade is water under the bridge now though, with some supporters itching for him to be the deputy to Alisson Becker next season.
Adrian was the backup to Alisson last season but after his error against Atletico Madrid, Liverpool fans aren’t convinced by him.
Following Achterberg’s video, some supporters took to Twitter to speak on Karius, with his role being the focal point in some big debates in recent days.
Here is a selection of Tweets from supporters regarding Karius and how they feel he should feature next season.
