A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror which have claimed that Caglar Soyuncu is one of the names on the Reds’ defensive wishlist ahead of this summer.

And it appears that they have a number of players on their radar. According to the Daily Mirror, they are keen on the likes of Ibrahima Konate, Ben White and Duje Caleta-Car.

Making Ozan Kabak’s loan move permanent also remains an option. But the report also suggests that the Leicester City man has his admirers at Anfield.

Soyuncu – who earns £45,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – has been hugely impressive during his time with the Foxes. And he was superb alongside Kabak for Turkey last week as they beat the Netherlands in a World Cup qualifier.

He is unlikely to come cheap. Leicester paid £20 million to sign him (via Sky Sports). And you would imagine that the Foxes would have to be offered the chance to make a huge profit to let him go.

But it appears that plenty of Liverpool fans would love to see him on Merseyside. His age suggests that he is not even at his peak yet and he obviously would not need to adapt to life in the Premier League if he did make a move.

With that in mind, here is what some of the Reds supporters make of the links with the Leicester star…
