A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Kostas Tsimikas after the defender’s display in their latest Champions League clash on Wednesday.
The Reds have booked their spot in the knockout stages of the competition. Jurgen Klopp’s men beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 at Anfield.

The result leaves the Premier League side seven points clear of second place Porto in their group with just two games remaining.
Of course, many were, understandably, raving about Trent Alexander-Arnold following the game. The right-back provided the assists for both of the goals, with Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane sealing the points.
But many felt compelled to laud Tsimikas on social media following the game also. Some have even insisted that he should keep his place for this weekend.

Tsimikas was named in the side by Klopp ahead of Andrew Robertson. And he went on to vindicate the boss’ decision with a sensational display.
No player produced a greater number of key passes than the Greece international. Like Alexander-Arnold, he managed four on the night.
Meanwhile, some of his link-up play with Mane was superb. And he continued his run of keeping a clean sheet whenever he has started for the Reds this season.
Plenty believe that he is putting serious pressure on Robertson. In fact, some have suggested that he is in better form than the Scot this term.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans reacted to his performance for Liverpool as they booked their ticket to the knockout stages of the Champions League…
