Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Jack Grealish interest reports

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror this week claiming that the Reds have joined the race to sign Jack Grealish.

Unsurprisingly, Grealish is being linked with the biggest sides in the Premier League. He has been sensational for Aston Villa again this season, scoring five and contributing six assists in the top flight.

According to the Daily Mirror, Jurgen Klopp’s side have joined Manchester United and Manchester City in the running to sign Grealish, who Villa value at at least £100 million.

It was noted that a January move is looking highly unlikely. But it would appear that the trio may be monitoring his situation ahead of next summer’s window in the hope that there may be more scope for a transfer then.

It would be a huge statement of intent for a side to lure Grealish away from his boyhood club. And it would appear that many Liverpool fans would love to see the attacking midfielder end up on Merseyside.

Admittedly, some are less convinced. And others cannot see the Reds making a move at any stage in the future given his asking price.

But there are plenty who would give a potential move their full backing. Grealish looks to have somehow taken his game to another level this season having already shown how devastating he can be at the highest level last year.

And it probably says it all that several Reds fans believe that he would be a worthwhile signing when they already boast arguably the most exciting squad in the country.
