Adam Lallana’s display appears to have provided Liverpool fans with a small positive to take from Saturday’s defeat to Watford, with many praising the midfielder’s performance at Vicarage Road.
Jurgen Klopp’s men will not go through the entire Premier League season unbeaten. The Reds were stunned 3-0 by the Hornets, with all three goals coming during the second-half.

As shown by Whoscored.com, Liverpool dominated possession. And they made more than three times the number of passes Watford made. However, they managed to put just one attempt on target.
Understandably, it has been difficult for the Anfield faithful to find an upside to the result.

The title has been essentially wrapped up for some time. So going through the league season unbeaten must have helped drive the players on.
And while it will hardly provide much comfort to the dejected Liverpool supporters, Lallana’s display was praised by a number of fans on social media.
The Englishman came on with less than half an hour to go. And he provided some of the energy Liverpool were crying out for after going 2-0 down.
He hit the post with a stunning attempt. And plenty of fans have suggested that he was one of the few players who are entitled to feel content with their display.
