Liverpool have been linked with a move for Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann and their supporters have been discussing the rumour on Twitter.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been touted as potential suitors for Griezmann.
Lionel Messi’s sensational u-turn could have a detrimental impact on the Frenchman who could now be on his way out of the Nou Camp.
Griezmann’s departure is by no means a foregone conclusion and just a year after a £107 million transfer to the club he won’t leave on the cheap.
Add to that the Frenchman’s £359,000 a week wages and it would take some eye-watering sums for any deal to come to fruition.
With Liverpool winning the Premier League at a canter last season, it seems unlikely that significant sums will be spent on the squad.
Kostas Tsimikas has been signed to add some cover at left-back and more new recruits will probably be kept to a minimum.
Nonetheless, it hasn’t stopped Liverpool fans discussing a potential move for Griezmann and it appears some would welcome his arrival.

Would be a huge upgrade.

Honestly that would be wonderful. Not saying this as a French Liverpool fan. He gives all on the field, and always makes an extra effort to defend which is aligned with Klopps values. That would brilliant for LFC

Griezmann is a great player and would provide competition for the front three. However, his wages will be a big issue.

Same thing as Barcelona. Clashing with Messi, for Liverpool, clashing with Salah. Would be interesting though.

Would be better than Roberto Firmino I guess and we r already buying their Gini so he can be a good re-enforcement for them along with Thiago but Liverpool won't give us players or great money for him so no
