Wolves are reportedly considering a January approach to raid Liverpool and bring striker Divock Origi to Molineux in the January transfer window – and Liverpool supporters have reacted to the potential transfer.
Origi, 25, is on the fringes of the Liverpool squad. The Belgian has fallen down the pecking order following the signing and immediate form of Diogo Jota – which has limited ex-Lille man Origi to just seven appearances this season.
The Athletic claim Liverpool are now willing to ‘listen to offers’ for the forward – who remains a hero at Anfield for scoring a brace in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, and then one in the final to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

The report states that Origi is a long-standing target for Wolves, who are now in the market for a new centre-forward after Raul Jimenez suffered a skull fracture which is expected to keep the Mexican powerhouse sidelines for quite some time.
It is also claimed that Liverpool would require a figure in the region of £20million to sell Origi, somewhat expensive given his lack of game time. Wolves, though, have a long list of strikers – as much as ‘two dozen’ – which they whittle down eventually.
Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Wolves are interested in luring Origi to Molineux in the next few weeks – and the Reds fans are happy to see him leave, while others have suggested a swap deal involving Pedro Neto.
