Liverpool fans react as they are linked with 22-year-old Frenchman

Liverpool have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are trying not to get too excited about the prospect of signing him.

Aged 22, Mbappe is already considered one of the world’s very best players, and has built up a glittering reputation in recent years.

He’s won the World Cup with France, three league titles with current club PSG, as well as one league title with Monaco.

Journalist Duncan Castles has reported on the Transfer Window Podcast that from the clubs interested in Mbappe, Liverpool are one of the teams he would be open to joining if he was to end up leaving French giants PSG.

It is understood that the Reds, along with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United, are teams that would stand a chance of landing the young attacker.

A selection of Liverpool supporters on social media believe the forward would be the “dream signing” for them, but many are extremely doubtful about whether it could be pulled off from a financial viewpoint.

If Mbappe is to leave PSG, then surely it’s going to cost the buyers a fortune.

But it’s understandable when you look at his CV, plus the fact he’s scored 30 goals in all competitions so far this campaign.
