He followed up a match-winning double against Italy with two goals in the aforementioned thrashing of the Danes, including a sumptuous backheel which chipped the goalkeeper.
Gametime has been very hard to come by at Anfield this season, but Solanke is doing all he can to catch his manager’s attention when he gets the opportunity on international duty.
