Liverpool fans react as Solanke nets four goals in two games on international duty

England are doing as well as they have ever done across the board in football terms and Aidy Boothroyd’s under-21 side are no different.

They have gone through 2018 unbeaten and rounded that run off with a 5-1 friendly win away against Denmark last night.

There is some outstanding talent in the ranks of the Young Lions and some of them have more of a chance to play at international level than they do with their clubs, such is the state of affairs at the top of the English game right now.

Dominic Solanke definitely falls into that category and has grabbed the opportunity to show Jurgen Klopp just how sharp he is in recent days.

He followed up a match-winning double against Italy with two goals in the aforementioned thrashing of the Danes, including a sumptuous backheel which chipped the goalkeeper.

Gametime has been very hard to come by at Anfield this season, but Solanke is doing all he can to catch his manager’s attention when he gets the opportunity on international duty.
