Sergio Ramos has been ruled out of Real Madrid’s clash with Liverpool in the Champions League – and supporters of the Premier League club have been reacting on Twitter.
The vastly experienced central defender has a muscle injury in his leg and a club statement has seemingly confirmed his absence from the forthcoming tie.
Ramos, 35, has been a mainstay in the Real Madrid back four over the years and his loss is likely to represent a big blow to Zinedine Zidane’s plans.

In total, the defender has made 670 appearances for Los Blancos, scoring 101 goals and claiming 40 assists.
Ramos is Madrid’s captain and naturally, his loss represents a big blow to the team.
It also means that Mohamed Salah won’t get the chance for retribution. A challenge from the Madrid star during the 2018 Champions League final saw the Egyptian forced off with an injury.
Following today’s news, Liverpool fans have been reacting and naturally, they’re quite pleased with the update.
Here is what they’ve been saying on Twitter.
