Liverpool fans react as Salah’s agent takes to Twitter after transfer request rumour

Mo Salah helped Liverpool cruise into the last four of the Champions League with a 6-1 aggregate victory over Porto sealed by last night’s 4-1 away win.

That sets up a tie with Spanish giants Barcelona and it is from Spanish outlet AS that reports came about Salah having handed in a transfer request at Anfield this morning.

The timing felt convenient and given how Salah has come back to form lately and how happy he seems at Anfield, the report never looked to have much truth in it.

That was before Salah’s agent, Rammy Abbas, took to Twitter to quash the rumours with a seven-word message which effectively confirmed his client would be staying on Merseyside.

Things couldn’t be going much better for the Reds right now – top of the league and into the semis of the Champions League – and the confirmation that Salah does not want to go anywhere tops it off.
