Liverpool fans react as Sadio Mane excels for Senegal

Sadio Mane provided an assist as Senegal beat Congo 2-0 in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

Liverpool star Mane played a starring role in the Senegalese victory. He provided an assist for the second goal and was a constant menace throughout the match.

Mane was the main man in Senegal’s attack and the Congolese defence would have been very aware of him. After scoring in the 3-1 win over Manchester City last weekend, Mane was in high spirits and in such good form.

The 27-year-old failed to score in yesterday’s game but he made his mark on the match. Mane produced an excellent left-footed cross for FC Metz striker Habib Diallo to head in for the second goal.

Mane also produced an outrageous piece of skill which has gone viral. Heading towards the corner flag, he stopped the ball, turned and chipped it over the onrushing defender with ease.
