Liverpool fans react as report links Quincy Promes with Anfield

Liverpool fans have been giving their reactions to a report that Quincy Promes is attracting interest from the Reds.

According to Sport.ru, the Netherlands international could already be on the move despite only joining Ajax last summer.

Promes moved back to his homeland after a poor spell with Sevilla, and has been on fire throughout 2019/20 so far, scoring 15 goals and making five assists in 24 appearances.

Ajax are obviously not keen to lose a player they have only just acquired, and have therefore set a rather steep price tag of €40 million/£34 million.

Promes, 28, would likely have to be OK with warming the bench at Anfield, with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah obviously two of the best players in the world.

It would surely be an unlikely move for Liverpool to make given the valuation that has been mentioned.

Promes could be a decent addition, but given his age and his lack of Premier League experience, it would be very surprising to see such a transfer come to fruition.
