Liverpool are reportedly set to charge interested parties a whopping £12million for winger Ryan Kent, which is likely to end any chance of a permanent move to Rangers – but some Liverpool fans believe he should be sold to Rangers.
The Liverpool Echo claim Jurgen Klopp’s side want £12million for the 22-year-old. He has impressed since signing for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers on a season-long loan last summer.
He has had a hand in 14 goals for the Gers from the left wing this campaign. Scoring five, Kent is beginning to show he is adding an end product to his game with nine assists.
His best moment for Rangers came in the Old Firm derby against Celtic. Turning right-back Mikael Lustig inside out, Kent laid the ball to Ryan Jack who scored the winner to beat the Scottish champions 1-0.
Gerrard will be desperate to keep Kent beyond the summer but there is almost no chance of Rangers affording £12million. Rangers’ club-record transfer fee stands at £12million for Tore Andre Flo back in 2000 (Guardian).
Liverpool fans reacted to the news that their club have valued Kent at the eight-figure price. Some Liverpool fans feel the valuation is too high, while some believe Kent should be sold to Rangers – “only Rangers FC should buy him.”
I really hope Liverpool keeps Ryan Kent next season.
But if team sells Kent, only Rangers FC should buy him.

He isn’t remotely good enough for Liverpool! Doesn’t have the ability of Wilson. If LFC could get £10M from a promoted side it’d be good business
