Liverpool fans react as photos emerge of Thiago back in training

Liverpool are set to be boosted this weekend with the return of Thiago Alcantara who has been sidelined with an illness.

The Reds take on Everton at the weekend looking to get back on track after losing 7-2 to Aston Villa prior to the international break.

Thiago signed for Liverpool from Bayern Munich last month, costing the Premier League champions £20 million (BBC).

He produced a superb performance during a second-half cameo against Chelsea last month, making more completed passes than any other player throughout the game.

Since then he has been on the sidelines and Liverpool will be delighted to have the 29-year-old back for this weekend’s massive game.

Everton have a 100 per-cent record so far this season and the champions will be fired up to try and end their excitement.

Thiago’s presence in midfield could prove a matchwinner for Liverpool and their fans are certainly excited at seeing photos of him back in training on the club’s official Twitter channel.

The Reds haven’t lost to Everton since 2010 in the Premier League and they’ll be desperate to continue their dominance against their fierce rivals.
