Mo Salah’s double helped Liverpool ease to victory over Arsenal. The Reds fended off the challenge from Unai Emery’s men at Anfield, winning 3-1 after going three goals up. Salah scored the second and third goals for Liverpool.
The Egypt international scored a penalty shortly after half-time after David Luiz pulled him back. His penalty was untouchable even if Bernd Leno went the right way as it was powered into the top corner.
Then, just before the hour mark, Salah put the game beyond doubt. The left-footed winger put the finishing touch on an eye-catching solo run to put Liverpool 3-0 up. Lucas Torreira got a late consolation goal but Salah was the hero.

The 27-year-old, who now has three goals this season, can be a game-winner on his own. He certainly proved that in the win over Arsenal, reminding Liverpool fans of his talent after Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino impressed too.
Liverpool fans are delighted to see Salah back to his best. Here are some tweets discussing the fan favourite’s performance for the Reds.
