Some Liverpool fans have given their reactions to the news that Brazilian midfielder Allan has left the club on a permanent basis.
The South American came to Anfield back in 2015, but work permit issues prevented him from ever appearing for the first-team in a competitive capacity.

In total, he was loaned out six times, and spent 2019 at Fluminense, which was his best spell.
Fluminense were one team interested in signing Allan permanently, but the Reds have actually done business with another Brazilian Serie A side – Atletico Mineiro.
According to The Liverpool Echo, a £3.2 million deal was stuck, meaning Liverpool have made more than £2.5 million profit on the player.
The Reds were also able to include a 10% sell-on clause.

Allan will now hope to properly kickstart his career having been all around Europe over the past few years, and perhaps show people why Jurgen Klopp once branded him ‘an outstanding talent’ (Liverpool Echo).
