Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on midfield maestro Naby Keita to the club’s official website.
The boss has claimed the player will miss tonight’s trip to Chelsea with a minor hip problem.
Keita is expected to be back in contention on Saturday, however, when Liverpool face Bournemouth at Anfield.

The 25-year-old has been hampered with injury problems since arriving at the club from RB Leipzig in 2018.
This season he has played 18 times for the Reds but has already spent time on the sidelines with thigh and calf problems.
With Jordan Henderson currently out injured, Liverpool could desperately do with Keita fit and Klopp will hope he is back at the weekend.
Liverpool supporters have been reacting to this latest injury and some are concerned that it’s a regular occurrence.
Others are less cynical, however, and believe that Liverpool must stick with him and help him get over his injury problems.

Keita earns £120,000-a-week and he hasn’t really scaled the heights that his potential promised when he first signed.
At 25 there should be more to come but Klopp and his staff need to find a way to manage his niggling injury issues.
Following the latest update, we looked at a series of tweets from Liverpool supporters on Keita.
