Liverpool take on FC Porto in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash, and Jurgen Klopp has included a surprise name in his starting XI.
The Reds will be hoping to see the job through at the Estádio do Dragão, with Barcelona already waiting in the semi-final.
Klopp has made an interesting selection for the second leg, with fringe player Divock Origi coming in to replace Roberto Firmino in attack (via the club’s official Twitter).
The Belgian has only made 22 appearances in all competitions so far this season, and is yet to start a Champions League match before tonight. He has not started a European tie since the Europa League quarter-final with Borussia Dortmund three years ago.
The former Lille winger will be hoping to make an impression as the jury is still out in the eyes of some supporters.
Elsewhere, Klopp has elected to drop Naby Keita to the bench after some strong recent showings, with James Milner replacing the Guinean in midfield.
Liverpool fans react
With most feeling Liverpool have enough to come through the tie unscathed with a two-goal cushion from the first leg, some supporters got behind Origi’s surprise inclusion on social media:
Origi hatrick incoming

Wijnaldum & Milner both impressive vs Chelsea, helping #LFC regain control second-half. Origi has been bright from the bench in recent months so good to see him rewarded with a start, allowing Firmino valuable rest. Plenty of firepower on the bench if needed.

Great lineup. Dont understand why people are moaning. Firmino has earned a well deserved rest and Origi is more than capable. We’re going for the league and we need rotation.

Happy enough with the line-up — well deserved rest for Bobby and good to see Origi get another opportunity.
Hope to see Mane down the centre and Origi on the left, was really effective against Watford.
Get an early goal and the tie’s over.
