Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott is flying on loan at Blackburn Rovers and their supporters have been raving about his latest goal.
The £4.3 million teenager was on the scoresheet in last night’s 3-2 defeat to Watford – Blackburn’s fifth defeat in succession.
He fired a right-footed effort high into the Watford net to give Tony Mowbray’s men a lifeline. Ultimately, it proved in vain, although his loan spell is going pretty well.
Elliott has scored five goals for his temporary club, with 10 assists also coming from the tricky winger.
The youngster has already made nine appearances for Liverpool’s first-team and the future looks bright.
Elliott has two good feet, an abundance of skill and is also capable of whipping in a superb delivery.
Following his superb strike in last night’s Championship contest supporters took to Twitter to discuss their emerging talent.
After a season of struggle for the reigning Premier League champions, plenty are calling for him to kept around next season.
Interestingly, given Liverpool’s injury issues this season, Klopp might have been able to utilise someone like Elliott in his own squad.
Nonetheless, regular football is certainly doing him the world of good at the moment it would seem.
Here is what the Liverpool fan base are saying regarding Elliott’s latest moment of magic in a Blackburn shirt.
