Liverpool fans react as Harvey Elliott scores cracker for Blackburn Rovers

Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott scored his second goal during his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last night during a 2-1 win over Millwall in the Championship.

The 17-year-old was a surprise loan signing by Rovers during the summer transfer window, with many Liverpool fans believing he might play a part at Anfield this season.

Jurgen Klopp clearly felt his development would be better served elsewhere, however, and Elliott is doing good things playing regularly in Tony Mowbray’s team.

Elliott’s previous goal came against Coventry back in October and he’s also registered three assists during his time in the blue and white of Blackburn.

His form will certainly be impressing Klopp who will be keen to monitor his development ahead of a return to Liverpool at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.

Elliott has nine outings to his name for the Premier League champions but league appearances have been somewhat hard to come by.

With that in mind, his current loan should do him the world of good, with his goal last night a real thing of beauty.
