Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson got on the scoresheet as Bournemouth lost 3-1 at home to Manchester City. Wilson netted a sublime free-kick just before half-time to give the hosts some hope.
It was deep into stoppage time in the first half and there was a feeling that Wilson could conjure up something special. During his loan spell at Derby County last season, he built up a reputation for being a free-kick and long-range specialist. This included a stunning free-kick against Manchester United.
The Wales international has now done it against the other Manchester club. He stepped up and lifted his left-footed free-kick over the ball and beyond the reach of Ederson. It was an unstoppable shot which hit the top corner at speed.

Wilson now has two goals in his first three games for Bournemouth. Last weekend, the 22-year-old scored against Aston Villa with a low drive into the bottom corner. He is showing signs that he can step up in the Premier League.
Here are some Liverpool fans reacting to Wilson’s goal on Twitter.
