Liverpool fans react as Everton reportedly considering Rangers manager Steven Gerrard

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has reportedly emerged as a target for Everton after Carlo Ancelotti made the shock return to Real Madrid. The Italian departed for his old club, six years after leaving, on Tuesday. Everton are considering Gerrard – prompting reaction from Liverpool fans.

According to The Athletic, Gerrard has emerged as a contender to replace Ancelotti. That is, despite being a legend of Liverpool – Everton’s biggest rivals. Gerrard still has a contract at Ibrox until the summer of 2024, and has won a whopping 112 of his 170 games in all competitions for the Gers.
