Liverpool are reportedly at the ‘front of the queue’ to sign PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen this summer despite competition from the likes of Barcelona and Juventus – and Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports.

Dutch outlet Voetbal International – as reported by 90Min – say Liverpool want 22-year-old Malen who has starred for PSV this season. The eight-time Netherlands international has scored a whopping 25 goals in 41 appearances.

Not only that, but Malen has also laid on nine assists. It is claimed that Liverpool are interested in Malen and are battling the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Milan – but that the Reds are at the front of the race to sign him.

The report also states that Malen will cost a figure in the region of £25million in the coming months – a figure that is easily affordable for a club like Liverpool. It is a race of four of the 12 clubs that were in the European Super League.

Liverpool fans took to Twitter amid reports that their club were keen on signing Malen – a player that is believed to be represented by Mino Raiola. Many fans of Jurgen Klopp’s Reds side are keen for Malen to be signed this summer.
