Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun after it was claimed the Gunners could sanction his exit for just £8million – and Reds supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news.

Balogun, 19, is likely to leave Arsenal this summer after entering the final 12 months of his contract at Arsenal. Sky Sports claim that the Gunners are open to a bargain figure of just £8million for the highly-rated goal getter.

That is likely to have numerous sides on red alert. Sky Sports claim that Brentford – who have reached the Championship play-off final and are renowned for a faith in youth – are very interested in the teenager.

However, the Bees are not alone in their pursuit of the New York-born England Under-18 international. Indeed, the report states that Liverpool are tracking Balogun, as are numerous clubs from the German Bundesliga.

Liverpool have plenty of young strikers coming through, with the best of all being Rhian Brewster. The England Under-21 ace scored an impressive 11 goals in 22 games for Swansea on loan since January.

Divock Origi has been linked with a summer exit, while Roberto Firmino remains first choice. Liverpool fans reacted to the news that they wanted Balogun, and it is clear some think he would be a good addition – while others do not.
