Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Torino winger Wilfried Singo this summer but have seen an offer of £17million bid rejected for the Ivorian wide man – and Reds fans have taken to Twitter to discuss his potential signing.
Singo, 20, has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Torino this season – being used as a right-back but more predominantly as a right winger. He has also been used at centre-back at times this season, making him incredibly versatile, and that he can adapt.
The uncapped Ivorian ace only played seven times for Torino’s senior side before this season, but has since clocked up 23 appearances during 2020-21. He has had a hand in four goals for Torino, scoring against Parma and creating three others.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport have claimed that Liverpool have tabled an offer of £17million to sign Singo this summer, but Torino have decided to turn said offer down. It is believed that Liverpool are ready to back in, with Torino wanting £25million.
Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that their club want to lure Singo to Anfield in the coming months, as they look to sign cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold – or Mo Salah. Whether he is worth £25million remains to be seen.
