Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri is reportedly attracting some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Liverpool. Amid the reports, Liverpool fans have discussed the potential signing of the left-back.

Ait-Nouri, 20, has been a regular when fit this season. He has started eight of his side’s last nine Premier League matches, whether that is as a left-back, a left wing-back or a left midfielder.

Konstantinos Tsimikas is currently acting as cover for Andy Robertson on the left side of the defence. The Greece international has been excellent at times this season, with Robertson considered one of the best in his position.

But Tsimikas is still somewhat flexible and being back-up might grow tiresome eventually. Liverpool might feel they have to bring in a player that has the quality to one day, overtake Scotland skipper Robertson.

The Mail say that Liverpool are in the race, alongside Manchester City and Tottenham, to sign Ait-Nouri. Wolves only bought the France Under-21 international for a fee of £10million in the summer, after an initial loan.

What are Liverpool fans saying about Wolves defender Ait-Nouri?

Ait-Nouri has impressed when facing Liverpool. Just recently, Liverpool needed an injury-time winner from Divock Origi to beat Wolves – but the left-back kept Mo Salah incredibly quiet throughout the 90 minutes.

The defender might want to move in order to see his career progressing, with the player certainly showing enough potential to eventually play at bigger clubs. Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are also keeping tabs.

Liverpool fans have had their say, and many believe he is a good addition.
