Liverpool fans react as club reportedly eye Bournemouth ace Lloyd Kelly

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move to raid Bournemouth as the Cherries near relegation from the Premier League to sign left-footed defender Lloyd Kelly – and many Reds fans have ordered their club to get a deal done.

The Reds want to bring in cover for Andy Robertson this summer as Yasser Larouci looks set to leave the club, with Leeds United and Brentford said to be in talks for the left-footed teenager ahead of the window opening on July 27.

James Milner can do a job at left-back, though is ageing and is naturally a midfielder. Neco Williams is a right-back, while Joe Gomez is preferred in the middle of the defence. Robertson needs cover.

Goal claim Bournemouth’s left-footed ace Kelly is being considered. BBC claimed Bournemouth paid £13million to sign 21-year-old Kelly from Bristol City last summer, after he clocked up 48 senior games for the Robins.

However, just weeks after his move, the England Under-21 defender was ruled out with a long-term hamstring injury. This season, he has managed just eight appearances for Bournemouth.

But Liverpool are keen with Bournemouth close to relegation – and the Reds were supposedly interested before he chose to join Bournemouth. Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter to the news Kelly is a target.
