Liverpool could reportedly offer Divock Origi and a big sum of cash to fend off rival Premier League clubs and sign Napoli giant Kalidou Koulibaly this summer – which has prompted plenty of reaction on Twitter.
Koulibaly, 28, has been strongly linked with a number of Premier League sides this summer with the belief that the Senegalese powerhouse is due to leave Gennaro Gattuso’s side – despite the financial restraints of the global health crisis.
The ex-KRC Genk star has shown again this season why Lorenzo Insigne described him as the best centre-back in European football, helping Napoli remain unbeaten in the Champions League until now – while Liverpool have been knocked out.

Italian outlet Napoli Magazine have suggested Liverpool are serious about Koulibaly, which could see the Reds form a stunning relationship between the African colossus and Virgil van Dijk. It is believed Koulibaly is worth a whopping £90million.
But Liverpool are unwilling to pay that figure – and would rather include a deal in which they pay around £53million and include striker Origi in a deal. Origi is one of six players to be linked with a Liverpool exit, as per the Mirror.
Liverpool supporters reacted to the news on Twitter that Liverpool may reportedly include Belgium international Origi in a deal to sign Koulibaly – and many have urged their side to ignore such a deal, stating they would rather keep Origi.
