Liverpool fans react as Celtic reportedly make Ki-Jana Hoever loan bid

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Read Celtic this week claiming that Celtic have made a loan bid for Ki-Jana Hoever.

Hoever has made a handful of first-team appearances since joining the Reds. And he may have his sights set on more game-time during the coming campaign following Dejan Lovren’s departure.

However, it appears that he may be offered the chance to move elsewhere for the season.

Read Celtic has reported that the Hoops have approached the Reds about taking the 18-year-old on loan for the year. It is noted that Jurgen Klopp is yet to make a decision on his plans for the Dutchman at this stage.

Klopp may be undecided. But it appears that plenty of Liverpool fans are hoping that the club do choose to let Hoever move to Parkhead for the year.

Of course, it is a potential move that one of his teammates is likely to highly recommend. Virgil van Dijk enjoyed two very successful years at Celtic before joining Southampton.

And some believe that Hoever would greatly benefit from emulating the Dutchman – as long as he plays regularly.

The fans have clearly got incredibly high hopes for the teenager. And it is suggested that a move to Celtic could be the ideal next step in his development.
