Dani Ceballos has lavished praise on Liverpool’s aggressive style of pressing, admitting he has never experienced anything like Anfield before.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder was taken aback by the Reds’ off-the-ball work when the teams faced off before the international break.
Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners in what was a professional and efficient performance from the hosts.

Arsenal looked lively in the first half, but struggled to live with the energy and tenacity on show from the Champions of Europe – something that has become famous under Jurgen Klopp.
And it definitely left Premier League rookie Ceballos impressed. He said in an interview with The Guardian: “I’ve never seen anything like what I saw at Anfield.
“I haven’t seen a team that plays better, that presses like them, the way the fans carry them along.
“They take the air from you. You spend so much time defending and when you want to do something with the ball, when you want to breathe, they’re back on top of you. They’re very well-drilled.”

Technician Ceballos, who has caught the eye for the Gunners so far, will likely not encounter too many similar games during his stay in the Premier League.
Liverpool fans react
Ceballos’ comments were picked up by Liverpool fans, with many taking the chance to welcome the Spaniard to English football and some joking he is angling for a switch to Anfield:
