Liverpool fans react as Arsenal agree new deal for Bukayo Saka
Arsenal have confirmed that Bukayo Saka has agreed a new deal with The Gunners amid doubts over his future as his previous deal expired in 2021 – and Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter to the announcement.
Saka, 18, has been in imperious form for Arsenal this season – laying on a whopping 10 assists in 33 league and cup outings. He has also found the back of the net on three occasions, despite playing left-back and left-wing.
His contract was due to expire in the summer of 2021, and with the summer window approaching, clubs began to consider a move. The Daily Mail suggested Premier League champions Liverpool were interested.
Bayern Munich and Manchester United were also said to be considering move for the London-born flyer, but Arsenal have finally tied down their academy product – though the announcement does not confirm how long for.
Signed da ting! 😉

Liverpool have plenty of options out wide, especially in terms of players breaking into their senior team. Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and others are all on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s side – and they wanted Saka to do the same.
But Saka has put pen to paper with his boyhood club, and Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter. Many are gutted their club fail to sign Saka, while others have applauded Arsenal for being able to keep the youngster.
Can’t blame Saka for extending his contract at his boy hood club – good to see some loyalty.
