Some Liverpool fans have been reacting to reports of interest from the club in young Sevilla goalkeeper Alfonso Pastor.
According to a report from AS last week, the Reds are keen on the 20-year-old along with Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid.
Pastor recently made his debut for the club in the Champions League game against Chelsea, which they lost 4-0 with Olivier Giroud scoring all of the Blues’ goals.

Pastor was fairly powerless to stop the Frenchman on the night, and was credited for keeping the scoreline down for the hosts.
It’s explained by AS that Liverpool have their eyes on him for the future.
Ominously, Pastor’s current contract with Sevilla expires next summer, meaning any move would be inexpensive or even free if nothing happens regarding an extension.
At the moment, Liverpool have Caoimhín Kelleher in goal covering for the injured, who has recently come to the fore for Jurgen Klopp with Adrian left to warm the bench.

The Spaniard’s future is up in the air as a result – his contract, like Pastor’s at Sevilla, expires next summer and it looks unlikely the Reds will exercise their option for another year.
On social media, some fans weren’t too welcoming of the link given the form of Kelleher:
