RMC Sport are claiming that Adam Lewis is set to be sent back to Liverpool after failing to impress on loan in France with Amiens.
The defender was sent on loan to the Ligue 2 side during the summer transfer window to gain regular first-team football.
Lewis, 21, has played nine times for the French outfit but hasn’t been in the squad for the last nine games.
Courrier Picard reported in December that Lewis had failed to impress the coaching staff at Amiens.

The former England under-20 international has made one appearance for the Liverpool first-team.
He was sent out on loan in the wake of Jurgen Klopp adding Kostas Tsimikas to his ranks in the summer.
Lewis penned a new contract with the Reds before heading for France.
Things haven’t gone according to plan, however, and surely another loan beckons for the Liverpool-born youngster.
It seems unlikely that Klopp will thrust him into his plans – despite a number of injuries to his first-team squad.
Following news that he is set to return to Anfield, supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
Plenty hope that he can head out elsewhere and gain some badly needed first-team experience.
Here is what Liverpool fans are saying about Lewis being sent back.
