The Premier League title might be in the bag for Liverpool but that didn’t stop their supporters casting a curious eye over Chelsea’s game last night.
Frank Lampard’s team failed to build on their win over Manchester City which handed Liverpool their first league title in 30 years, slipping to a 3-2 defeat against West Ham.
For Liverpool supporters, however, it was a chance to run the rule over Brazilian forward Willian. The 31-year-old is out of contract in the summer and looks set to leave Stamford Bridge after seven years in West London.
It would appear that some Liverpool fans would like the speedster to head north; signing terms with the reigning champions.
The trickster signing for the Reds might not be totally unreasonable. In April he was linked by the Spanish media with a move to the club (Sport).
Given the financial landscape of football after the recent hiatus, plenty of clubs might choose to operate sensibly during the summer.

With Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all in blistering form this season, wholesale changes certainly aren’t required for Jurgen Klopp.
With that in mind, Liverpool fans took to Twitter to last night to rave about the performance of Willian.
Many believe he could be the man to provide some decent competition for Mane’s place; although his versatility would make him an exceptionally strong squad player.
The ex-Shakhtar man is paid £138,000-a-week by Chelsea and certainly wouldn’t break the bank in that sense.
Willian scored twice at the London Stadium last night, leaving Liverpool fans in no doubt as to what Klopp should do this summer.
Here is a selection of tweets from Liverpool supporters saluting the performance of the 69-time international star.
