West Ham were beaten 3-2 by Liverpool at Anfield as the Hammers gave the runaway leaders a real scare.
Gini Wijnaldum put the Reds in front early on before Issa Diop equalised shortly after.
Anfield was then silenced in the second half when Pablo Fornals prodded the Hammers into a surprise lead.

Liverpool weren’t to be denied, however, with Mo Salah and Sadio Mane both scoring to edge Jurgen Klopp’s team home.
One man who did enjoy a decent game for the Hammers was centre-back Diop. The uncompromising defender scored West Ham’s equaliser and was largely solid.
Despite the defeat, he was brilliant for the Hammers in defence, leading by example from the back.
If Moyes is to lead West Ham clear of relegation troubles then he will surely need players like Diop to continue putting in performances of this nature.
Diop is paid £67,000-a-week by West Ham and has proved a revelation since arriving for £22 million from Toulouse in 2018 (BBC).

Following the defeat at Anfield, it was Liverpool supporters who found time to rave about the performance of Diop.
Here is a selection of tweets from opposition supporters after Diop shines for the Hammers under the Anfield floodlights.
