Liverpool fans rave about West Ham star after Sunday display on Merseyside
Jarrod Bowen was excellent for West Ham on Sunday afternoon as the Hammers beat Everton on Merseyside – and Liverpool fans have responded.
Bowen, 24, has been sensational for West Ham and he provided the difference on Sunday – his third goal involvement in eight league games.
His pinpoint corner drifted over the head of Declan Rice, but as he has done so many times in the past, Angelo Ogbonna was on hand to head home.
It comes after Bowen had scored during last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Brentford. He also got an assist against Manchester United at home.
Bowen has been linked with a move to Liverpool over the past few months, with Jurgen Klopp keen to add cover for Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.
What do Liverpool fans think of Bowen, after West Ham display?
Both will be representing their countries in January, with Egypt and Senegal among the favourites to win the competition. Liverpool lack depth.
Of course, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino are options – but from as false nines. Jota can play wide, while Divock Origi is below the needed quality.
They need more options from out wide that can get beyond the striker and score. Bowen is just that, scoring 54 times in 131 games for Hull City.
He is more of a winger at West Ham, but has produced 23 goal involvements in 64 games. The Independent say Liverpool are admirers.
