'Better than Salah': Liverpool fans rave about Fabinho performance against Brentford

For Liverpool, it was back to doing what they do best this weekend against Brentford as they eased past the Bees at Anfield to come out 3-0 winners.

Goals from Fabinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Takumi Minamino ensured the Reds were never in any sort of real danger against Thomas Frank’s men. It was a far cry from the game earlier in the season, and Liverpool simply cruised it really in this one.

For Jurgen Klopp, there were a number of fine individual performances on display. His players have needed to step up in the absence of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. And one of the players to do just that today, was Brazilian midfielder, Fabinho.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

The excellent, usually defensive-minded midfielder, put in another masterclass showing. He helped himself to the opening goal and once again, looked every bit the world-class player we all know he is. Liverpool fans, too, were delighted with what they saw from Fabinho. Indeed, his goal today means he’s now scored three in three games, quite the run!

And over on Twitter, Liverpool supporters were quick to make their feelings known on Fabinho’s performance. The midfielder is often an unsung hero in the middle thanks to his defensive role. But not today.

Here, then, is what some Reds fans had to say as they lauded the Brazilian’s latest goalscoring display.
