Liverpool fans love Norwich’s win over Manchester City

Manchester City slipped behind Liverpool in the race for the title. Even though we are only five games into the new season, many pundits believe it will be a two-horse race for the title again this season.

But Pep Guardiola’s men have already slipped up twice this season. Man City drew 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur and then lost to Norwich City yesterday. It was a shock result at Carrow Road.

Norwich took their free-flowing style of play to Man City and forced the reigning champions to crumble. Daniel Farke’s side scored three times to beat Man City. And Liverpool fans are absolutely loving it.

Liverpool go five points clear

The Canaries proved their attacking threat with three goals. Kenny McLean and Todd Cantwell got the home side off to a flyer within the first half-hour. Sergio Aguero’s goal just before half-time made things nervous but Teemu Pukki restored the two-goal lead five minutes after the interval.

Pukki has now scored in every game this season for club and country – except the loss at West Ham. Rodri scored late but Man City could not find an equaliser. Liverpool went five points clear and here are some fans celebrating Norwich’s unlikely result.
