Liverpool fans laud Alisson as Brazilian shines in 1-1 Fulham draw
Liverpool fans are venting their anger on social media, after the Reds produced a poor performance in a 1-1 draw against Fulham in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had the chance to go top, with Tottenham Hotspur dropping points against Crystal Palace earlier on.
It was a golden opportunity, with Fulham have shipped plenty of goals this season.

But the Cottagers put in a brilliant performance and were a bit unfortunate not to take all three points.
Fulham’s goal came courtesy of Bobby Decordova-Reid – the 27-year-old unleashing a brilliant drive in the first-half for only his second goal of the season.
They tried not to sit back and had chances to score more than one.

It wasn’t to be though, with Mo Salah scoring for Liverpool from the spot after a handball in the area from Aboubakar Kamara.
The Reds certainly had goalkeeper Alisson to thank for the point they got.
The Brazilian was back in the side after missing the past few games through injury and, although he was powerless to stop Lookman’s goal, he had an outstanding game between the sticks, making key saves especially in the first-half.
Liverpool fans made sure to praise the South American amid their fury on social media:
This is a genuinely awful performance. Alisson the only player above a 5 #lfc

After that performance you’ll take a point from that! Alisson our MOTM, kept us in it for the draw. Need to up the performance for Spurs next.

Lucky to get one point. Shocking performance. Thank God for Alisson.

A good point in comparison. First half was absolutely woeful, second was better but not enough for goals. Only player you can put any praise on is Alisson! However, its a good point given everyone else has dropped points and we didnt lose when we deserved too! #LFC

Alisson the only reason why we didn’t lose this. Massive opportunity absolutely squandered. #LFC
