Liverpool were beaten in France by Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter praised their goalkeeper Alisson Becker despite the loss.
The Reds were defeated 2-1 and it means they have work to do against Napoli if they are to qualify from their Champions League group.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had to ride a PSG wave of attacks in the first-half, as they breached the defence on numerous occasions and ended up scoring twice.
But Liverpool could have been embarrassed if it wasn’t for their goalkeeper making a number of top saves and he proved why the club forked out £67million (Sky Sports) for his signature in the summer from Roma.

Alisson has quickly helped fix the problem in goal this season at Anfield and locks a dependable option.
The Brazil international has conceded just five goals in the Premier League so far and once again made some brilliant saves on the European stage.
The 26-year-old appears to have the quality to be a long-term option in net for Klopp’s side and will have a taste of his first ever Merseyside derby on Sunday at Anfield.
Here are some of the Liverpool fan tweets on Alisson’s performance:
