Liverpool are reportedly set to keep defender Dejan Lovren for another season – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are updated about the news.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds are planning to have the 29-year-old in their squad for the new campaign.

It is understood that manager Jurgen Klopp has a stance that the centre-back is not for sale this summer.

The report details that AC Milan are keen on potentially snapping him up, but the Merseyside club have received not approaches for him.

Lovren is still under contract at Anfield until 2021 and it looks like he will remain a part of the squad for the foreseeable future.

The Croatia international only managed 18 first-team games across all competitions last season and was often left out of the big games.

He face competition from the likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Mateo and Joe Gomez for the centre-back positions at Liverpool.
