Liverpool fans drool over Champions League striker’s display, already has 10 goals this season in just 15 games

Karim Adeyemi took his tally to 10 goals in just 15 games in 21-22 with a brilliant brace for RB Salzburg – and Liverpool fans want him signed.

Adeyemi, 19, has been on fire for Salzburg over the last 12 months. His form has been so good that the striker even earned a senior Germany call-up.

Last season, he had a hand in 20 goals during 39 games – scoring nine and creating 11. But this season, his goalscoring rate has gone through the roof.

Clocking up 15 outings, he has netted 10 and created two more. On Wednesday night, he scored two goals as Salzburg beat French side Lille.

While both goals did come from the penalty spot, Adeyemi won the first himself – before having the confidence to score a second in the same game.

What are Liverpool fans saying about Adeyemi, after brace?

German newspaper Bild said earlier this month that Liverpool were one of the European heavyweights taking a look at Adeyemi.

However, their competition is big. Both Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also keen – the latter looking to find a Robert Lewandowski replacement.

The report says Adeyemi is worth just £17.25million but with every goal he scores, surely his value is going to sky rocket – given his age.

Also, the fact he is scoring on the Champions League stage – and that Erling Haaland came from Salzburg, will have a say on his price tag.

Certainly, Liverpool need a striker with Divock Origi likely to go again, and Liverpool fans want it to be Adeyemi after his display on Wednesday.
