Liverpool fans divided on Mo Salah and Sadio Mane spat

Sadio Mane was furious after his substitution.

Despite the 3-0 win over Burnley, there were some tensions in the Liverpool camp. Sadio Mane was visibly frustrated with Liverpool team-mate Mo Salah, presumably for his selfishness.

Salah had two opportunities to pass to team-mates but decided to go for goal on both occasions. The Egyptian could have rolled in Roberto Firmino but took a shot on his right foot instead.

Then, Salah went for goal again when Mane was unmarked and in space. Mane, who had already scored, was clearly irked by Salah’s selfishness. He remonstrated with Jurgen Klopp and his team-mates after being substituted.

Mane’s strop was caught on camera and there has been much discussion about it. Despite Klopp brushing it off after the match and claiming everyone was happy, there has inevitably been talk about a rift between the players.

The front three of Salah, Mane and Firmino has worked so well for Liverpool and fans do not want them to fall out. Here are some tweets discussing the situation between Mane and Salah.
